Recently received a new CF-31 Mk3 at work to replace the old CF-30. The Toughbook is docked in the car and connected to an external antenna on the roof (one of the Antenna Plus pucks). I work in a rural area with some varying terrain.

The old CF-30 would often revert to slow 1xrtt connection in deep valleys, and did not want to come back to 3G. So I would use ctrl + D in the vzaccess app, type diagvzw at the prompt, and force the card to 3G only. This worked great but I had to do the process at the start of every shift, the card did not remember the settings after power reset, or reset of wireless switch.

On the new 31 the program to manage the internal cell card is Sierra Wireless "Aircard Watcher." This allows 4G and is on the Verizon network.

Ctrl +D also opens an advanced mode, but the old password has no function. Either does ##DEBUG which I found in a search from a old year 2007 thread.

Curious if anyone has the proper advanced mode password for the latest Aircard Watcher?
