Hello gents and the occasional ma'am...

Quick question... I have a CF-31JBGGA3M that I am working on. I initially built this for my brother-in-law and installed W7 then upgraded to W10 later. This was a 32 bit installation.

My brother-in-law now has sketching tool software that he has purchased that requires W-10-64 bit. Before I just start helping him redo his laptop I thought I would ask the group here about what driver packages to use as I am sure the original 32 bit drivers will not work here. He is prepared to give up some functionality possibly (such as being able to use some of the hotkeys) But he doesn't really want to lose the touch functionality or the ability to calibrate that.

In my last life, when I had high speed internet... I would just download and experiment. Now I live where they pipe in the internet via satellite... Things are different now...

I appreciate your help, as always.

I haven't been around much lately... Work and a few health problems. (I miss being immortal!) I should be around all next week as I am taking vacation time to recoup from a broken rib that continues to stay complicated and kicking my arse!

    Thank you all!

    Rick

Sorry to hear that. I ruptured my eardrum recently from going hunting and not wearing ear plugs. I’m still getting over a family death so I feel you bud.

Now to that. I think that x86 might work but is the processer ready for x64 Windows?

Hmmm... I thought I looked up the properties online for an I5 like is in there and it stated it was 64 bit capable. Not the first time Panny put 32 bit on a 64 bit machine...

    Is my info incorrect?
