Hello all! Firstly, for the record I have read all the wiki's I could find, done all the searches until my fingers bled, and read all the rules on this forum. So here's my issue:
We just received a brand new CF-31 w/ Windows 7 x64. (full model # FC-31aaaex1m). When we try to use the internal GPS on COM3 @ 4800 baud, we get garbled setence outputs instead of the standard NMEA sentences we expected. The strange strings have characters similar to this: ┼┼→@┼
I did notice that the garbled text is coming across at about the same speed the NMEA sentences would normally be. So, we hooked up a magellan receiver and antenna via another COM port, and again, getting garbled sentences. So now we're really confused.
Any ideas??
Thanks!

Check @9600
And report back
The cf-30's ran @4800 baud , not sure on the new cf-31's
If the baud rate is set wrong you will see garbled sentences -
Does your application have a provision for hot start/warm start?
A hot re-start using Ublox Evaluation Software 6.10 seems to correct/wake up my CF-30. The software claims to work with any device using standard NMEA.
FWIW.

Hi all, I am also facing with the same problem. CF-31AQAAXDM integrated GPS did not streaming NMEA. NMEA instead by garbled setence outputs.
Did you resolve problem? If Yes, please do let me know how to. -
