    CF-31 MK1 W8 Help

    I have a bios version
    V1.00L17-m2
    Can I run Windows 8 or do I need to reflash it to something else?
    I also did some research and found out I have ami bois 080010

    I would check first to see if they have drivers for it first or it might turn into a big jod finding the drivers

    It might tell you its not for your model so you might have to unzip them manually...maybe

    Still confused in how to set model A,C,D,F? My toughbook is CF-31TLB15
    should I just use cf-31?

    No way to tell. Just keep trying different drivers or you could always get the restore disk from Heartland Services...W7 that is.

    I know it's a CF31 mk1 by the CPU. Intel Core i5-520M 2.40GHz,
    It has WLAN so it's a CF31A..
    The CF31B did not have WLAN..
    It does not have ATI graphics, so it is not a performance model.
    It has a i5 CPU and not a i3 CPU..That means it is not a Value model.
    It is a CF31"A" mk1 Standard model. not value and not performance.

    The military uses different "model" numbers...Don't know why. Unless the fact it is 1604 haz location gives it odd model number.
