Does anyone know the version difference between Mk5 with BIOS V5.00 and Mk5 with BIOS V5.50 ? I saw the same CPU used in both so I am thinking it must be something related to additional accessories like FP reader, SC reader, Webcam or 2nd LAN port. I am just guessing but maybe someone has more info.

    Regards!

Don't know much about CF-31 but in other models I have noticed standard BIOS versions ending in .00, sometimes a lower performance version ending in .50, and customized BIOS for major customers (like DoD) ending in various digits after the decimal.

I checked a little bit the pictures available on the internet with the BIOS screens and it seems that V5.00 is for the i5 CPU model and the V5.50 is for the i7 CPU model. So it looks like it is for the higher performance models not the lower ones.
