Hello.
I have 2 CF-31's that have issues with the touchpad.
The mouse 1 and 2 buttons work and will click/right click... but the mouse wont move at all.
Has anyone seen this issue before??
Thanks

CF-31JFGAA1M is one I have in front of me

That's a mk2 with a Versapad brand touchpad.
What OS?
And did you load it with a recovery disk or use the online drivers?
Did the touchpad ever work for you? -

Linux: Here's the short but sweet version for a CF-31MK5...should work for the MK2.

For Windows it sounds like you have the touchpad disabled in the desktop or you are missing a driver. The thing is Versapad is a PS/2 type mouse. Which means it should work on a generic W7. -

It is also possible that the 4 conductor FFC for the touchpad is unplugged or damaged.
The button switches are soldered directly onto the touchpad pcb. -

I have tried both Win7 and Win10 -- I have tried all of the online drivers from the Panasonic website.. Your post about the 4 conductor FFC being unplugged/damaged may be the issue... Are there any guides/tutorials online on how to check and see if this is plugged in?

this will give you an idea.
This is for the pcb and not the pad itself. But you can find the pcb and look for damage.
