Do any mks of CF-31 use SATA 3 as the CF19 mk5?

Sata 3 is I think for USB 3. Maybe the same for SATA 2 for usb2 and the same for sata1. Idk

Not sure about the 31 but the CF-19 MK5 is not SATA 3 . At least mine's not and I have a MK5.

My CF19 mk5 is SATA3 according to the HWinfo results. As BaRRmaley said above mks 6 & 7 reverted to SATA 2.

I don't have my CF-52 mk5 anymore but i had a fast SSD (800gb intel S3500) in it and did not notice anything unusual when doing benchmarks. it was an i5 3360M cpu.

I have a hard time figuring out why Panasonic would revert back to sata 2 on the 6th and 7th gen cf-19, it's not like sata3 ever had stability issues(never heard about that).
Wouldn't be surprised if a bios update enables Sata3(as some motherboards i have used before could "force it on").

There is a success story here with a cf-19 mk7, the user enabled sata3 and higher speed ddr3)

    Most likely power and/or heat.

Also CF-19's real users, including me, are not worried :)

Even if it would not show as Sata3 in hwinfo, there is a way to enable it with enough effort. Just stick with intel 3rd gen and higher(if possible i5).

    Thanks.
Are there any models of CF-31 that have SATA3 natively enabled as the CF-19 mk5?

My FZ-G1 mk1 with a core i5-3437u on QM77 supports Sata 6gb/s from hwinfo (latest bios and up to date windows7). Getting a CF-31 with 3rd gen core i5 or better is a safe bet.
