I have a CF-31A and I just bought a CF-31J. Can I pull the finger print reader from the A and move it to the J?

Take your time doing the swap.
It is slightly tedious to get everything back where it belongs. The ffc cable is long and winds around a bunch of stuff if I recall correctly.
