I just went to the site and some pretty little Chinese Gal tried to chat me up. I was in a hurry so I am afraid that I had to let her down pretty hard.

But they are located at : No.32 FuXing Road ,HaiDian District, Beijing, China and carry the Chinese Certificate of Approval, so they must be legit...

Malwarebytes blocks the site for me. Not all the sites it blocks are bad, but most are. Maybe the chinese ip?

    I think not:

Paypal's commission is too high and the poor experience, whatever we do any deal with our customer,Paypal will extract a high promotion commission.we have many bad experience by paypal,in that it make the every deal last a long time and sometime lead to our business to be cheated by disloyal buyers.Board of Directors decided that We will not accept paypal because we have built longrelationship with western union.

I have had generally good exsperence with PayPal. Your exsperence is interesting but were I truely interested in this deal it would have zero impact on my decision to use PalPal. :)

No, you misunderstand. That is from their website. They have a PayPal logo but, do not accept PayPal. I've got no problem with PayPal.

Yeah; what that means is buyers have filed a claim with PayPal for goods not as described and lo & behold, payPal took the money out of their accounts & gave it back to the customer.

    wah.

EVERY auction site, CraigsList and even some Wholesale Shopping Portals will tell you that a seller who only accepts Western Union is a scam; they choose Western Union because there is no way to do ANYTHING to them and no way to get your money back.

PayPal's Merchant Account fees appear large to the average person; but compared to the cost of opening and maintaining a Merchant Account with a major Credit Card company it's much less painful, especially for the small business.

Tell me about it. I've been taking credit cards for 30 years with the same merchant services outfit and I'm about ready to tell my vendor where to go.

There are of course plenty of companies in China that sell counterfeits of brand items. However, telling the difference between one of those sites and one that does not deliver anything is quite difficult. They both know what they are doing is illegal, and use similar methods to stay anonymous.
While many real companies in China use Western Union and MoneyGram for payments, you should avoid using these methods for your own safety unless you are absolutely certain who you are dealing with. WU and MG themselves do not recommend their services be used to pay strangers over the internet. If they do not deliver there will be no possibility of recovering any money.
Some Chinese scams do accept PayPal. Note that there is no guarantee you will recover your money in case of fraud when paying with PayPal. Many scams will claim to accept it on the site, but “only for VIP customers”, or when you ask them about it they will make various excuses.

The secret is working with outfits that have been vetted on the forums. My youngest kid buys a lot of wildly inexpensive Chinese stuff. No issues.

I too have bought a lot of chinese stuff but on ebay only and no problems besides the 2-3 weeks shipping but I knew that anyways BUT to buy from a chinese web site no way. Back 6-8 months ago I was offered Toughbooks parts at great savings (75% off retail)....touchscreens, caddys, port covers plus other toughbook related stuff. We talked about this on toughbooktalk.com but that is all we did. Why....there is no way for us to check out these sellers. I did not want to gamble with my hard earned money or our members.

I think any Chinese website that claims to sell brand name products is not legitimate. Now as far as deal extreme is concerned.

I once ordered a aluminum reflector from them, they notify me that they do not have it in stock but will order a block of aluminum and machine it asap.

    wow.

I've bought a LOT of stuff from DealeXtremecom; I can personally vouch for the quality of these products:

    DealExtreme: $13.10 Ultrafire C3 Stainless Steel Cree Q5-WC 5-Mode 190-Lumen Memory LED Flashlight (1*AA/1*14500)

    DealExtreme: $19.95 UltraFire A6 Stainless Steel Cree Q5-WC 120-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*10440/1*AAA)

DealExtreme: $8.63 TrustFire TR-001 Multi-Purpose Lithium Battery Charger

    DealExtreme: $8.69 TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A)

    DealExtreme: $4.22 TrustFire 14500 3.7V 900mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries (2-Pack)

    DealExtreme: $4.23 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack

I've had one or the other of these two flashlights in my pocket every day for over a year; they have fared VERY WELL bouncing against my change and a Leatherman tool all day long.

My only gripe is with the 10440 batteries; my 14500s are still the original sets, but I'm getting ready to buy my 3rd set of 10440s. At first I was convinced that they were simply poor quality batteries; but after reviewing many LED light forums, I've found the general consensus is that the 10440s are only good for about 300-400mah no matter what the brand or rating stamped on the cell and about 100 cycles, unlike the 300-800 cycles one can expect from the 14500s.

That said; 120 lumens from a flashlight the size of a AA battery is phenomenal; and an honest 190 lumens from a stainless steel light for only $13 SHIPPED is just a-whee-some.
