    I have exactly the same problem as in this thread.
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/cf-31-gps-not-streaming-com-port-conflict-need-help.776529/
    and this one;
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/cf31mk5-win10-gps-problems.795653/page-1

    The threads never came to a conclusion.

    The difference is that I'm having the issue with a CF-31 mk5 with a factory installed ublox module so unlikely to be a ribbon issue.

    I've tried setting the GPS under serial port in BIOS as Auto and Enabled.

    There are 3 ports listed in Device Manager: 1,2 and 3. Intel Active Management Technology is on COM3.

    Running Windows 10. CF-3110672CM

    Can anyone help please?

    Change the AMT port to anything above com3. The ports are overlapping and the gps has to use com3

    Thanks . Just tried changing AMT to COM4. Then COM3 doesn't show in the Panasonic GPS viewer at all just 1,2 and 4.

    EDIT - I did it in device manager - is that the right way to do it?

    Make sure gps is set to auto in the bios.
    Also on the bios exit page there is a diagnostic option. Make sure the gps shows up and passes the test.

    +1 to steve.steve
    Intel amt to comXX (personally I use com25+) in device manager
    Gps to auto in bios, will appear as com3
    If there are no changes - power pull reset, but has to work.

    Thanks all - sorted now. It needed the power pull reset as advised.
