Anyone have this info because I am curious which pins are for the HDMI output from the CF-31.

    Thanks!

Are you sure there is HDMI available in the docking connector? There have been very few changes to the docking connectors over the years to maintain compatibility.

Not sure how I can respond to this without sounding like a jerk because I am really not, but, if you notice the post above yours, I wrote about the CF-VEB311U dock, which I had previously found via google. That dock is the reason the title of the thread specifies the PINOUT for the CF-31 port replicator.

Interesting that it lists those specific Cf 29's.
Maybe those units have HDMI out on the docking port and the regular CF29's do not.

I would like someone who has one of those docks to test it with various models. To see if the HDMI and all work with every model.

    Hmmm

i have been looking at different sites for the port replicator mentioned ...
some sites make it seem as though it will not work on anything but a '30/31 .
however , in all cases , it looks as if the same stock photo was used and there is no picture of the back of the device and thus , no actual proof of a hdmi port being present .
some sites list compatibility with a couple other models .
a check at a panasonic site yielded very little information (go figure , he said sarcastically) .

    sooo ...
there is a lack of true information (in the hand , as it were) .
the fact of non-consistent information between sites does not prove anything , one way or the other .
some guy could have just copied/parroted the information he found on line while doing the lay-up/write-up for their company ad .
the fact that what appears to be a "stock photo" was used between many sites lends credence to the idea .

at this point , what i would really trust is a service manual that lists the compatibility of various CF machines .
man , can you imagine some poor purchasing agent buying 50 of these things and then finding out that "they don't work" ?
my buddy had to give a police department and a sheriff's office the good news along these lines ...
(we were set to install a bunch of docks and discovered an error ... some salesman sure lost his commission on that one)

My wording might not of sounded good but I really did not mean anything by it. Sorry about that.
