I'm having an issue with one of our new CF-3110672CM computers, and no other unit (so far).
One of our users come in complaining that he couldn't log in to the computer. I had him bring it in, thinking that it was an issue where the predefined_profiles.xml file wasn't deleted, and it re-created the carrier's default profile instead of our private APN. When I booted up and logged into Administrator to see what was going on, I found the Skylight program showing "Mobile Broadband turned off", even though both the hard switch and soft switch are turned on. I flipped the hard and soft switches on and off, both rebooting and not in between actions. The card responds normally through the DM port, and I see GPS strings coming through on the NMEA port.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled both Skylight and the drivers, and I've done a full re-image from a known good image (Our own, not OEM) to no avail. The only thing I haven't done is crack the case to check the Layer 0/Layer 1 short of popping the access panel to make sure everything was still there.

Sorry , I can't help much. I don't use WWAN. I am too cheap.
Just wanted you to get some sort of response. No one likes being ignored.
Maybe the card failed..Swap with a known good card.toughasnails likes this. -
