I am looking for a Ublox NEO-M8N kit for a CF-31 Mk1 up and down the internet, only thing I can find that is available is the oem kits. Anyone know if there is anyone making some these days? Closest I found was this kit : http://www.custom-toughbooks.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=71&products_id=198

as well as someone claiming to have the best kit on the market, but I have to send them the computer and they wont tell me what chip they are using (not going to happen).

    Thanks!

Odd that you have to send to them. Any ublox for a mk1-5 will work for your unit.

Fyi, the factory mk5 antenna wires are smaller than the mk1-4. So the antenna hookup for a mk5 GPS are smaller diameter.

Anyone ever deal with ToughDepot.com in the past? Have not been able to reach them to get my GPS board...(They gladly took my payment however), or anyone have a source for boards with the ublox chip? (I do not beleive custom-toughbooks.com does them anymore either)

question. I have that mk5 unit in my mk4 and the antenna is going up to the lid.
I also have a MC7355 with a blank GPS plug and 2 other blank GPS plugs on the board. is there a difference between these 2 GPS's and also, where does the plug from the 7355 GPS go? GPS-INT or GPS-MOD?

The GPS lead on the cellular does not need to be used since you have the dedicated gps. The GPS plugs on the board go to the internal GPS. They are needed if you use a docking station with a external GPS antenna.
