Now that I have added a CF-50 to this addiction that I seem to be involved in, need a little help with getting the video drivers installed. CF-50BB2NUDM, but running XP instead of win2000. Recieved it with a DOD clean drive so I had no drivers or software on it when it arrived. Have installed a 160 gig HD and installed a new copy of XP pro SP2. Downloaded all of the drivers from Panasonics site based on the model number but for XP version. Found the thread from 2008 where Modly listed several video drivers, of which I have tried all of them with no success. Still shows code 28 on video controler driver. Also is batter refresh avail on this model. Arrived with battery that only holds a few minutes, have had success with same app on my CF28 & CF 29.
Appreciate any help on this matter, on to seaching and reading more threads to see what else I can come up with on my newly aquired toys, need to add GPS to cf29, got it in cf 28, time to order another EM408

XP drivers had the same results, installed driver video_50_2_d020963 from panasonic, downloaded all drivers, touch pad, hotkeys lan etc and proceeded to install all in order on list from pan. have bad video(slow on scroll/jerky) no hotkeys, have not checked anything else yet. When look at VG cont. props, shows no driver instelled, also PCI modem and one unknown device showing code 28. using pcmcia wireless card, seller said that this unit was wireless, but looks like card is missing,

I had 3 of the CF-50BB2NUDM. None of them had a wifi card or the antennas. I had to install both.
Make sure you go to the folder where the drivers where unpacked, probably C:\utilities or c:\utility. Run the setup files. Alternatively run windows setup new hardware and when it asks for the driver location, point it to the correct folder for each driver.
