Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the bu51m2l.exe file.
I have searched the Panasonic CA and JP sites but nada!
    Many thanks.
Should add its for the MK2LL model!

How about asking rusty503 from the following thread for the file?:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/panasonic/475233-writing-bios-id-2.html

In this old thread could be read that some time ago the files was
on the BIOS/EC Download Page http://www.panasonic.com/business/toughbook/computer-support-bios.asp#CF-51
which points for CF-51 files to
    ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasonic/toughbook/downloads/BIOS/CF-51/

    So you could try

    ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasonic/toughbook/downloads/BIOS/CF-51/bu51m2l.exe
    or find a mirror

Could check here if the file exists at this time :)

Oh well! It was worth a shot.
The only one I can find looks like its something to do with the battery calibration.
    Thanks everyone.

I downloaded it and opened it up but no file like the one you are looking for unless it was in the other ones that the link is dead.

    Likewise!
I thought that any Bios process might have used the same procedure.
Did say to myself to stick with the MK3's but seem to have salvaged a couple of MK2's!
Guess I need to source a recovery disc for the MK2LL!
