With one tab open watching any video (youtube or embedded on a webpage) I get that twanging, reverberating sound.

Another situation is when browsing the NY Times site, everything on the page doesn't come up. There should be an easy way of clicking an arrow to see pictures of the day but there isn't. Other times it takes a LONG time for something to come up on the page but things are still missing.

    Thanks for any help.

Is it doing this on playing a video off the hard drive or only though the browser? Is this a fresh reload of windows? You may not have graphics acceleration installed.

Try another web browser, my personal one I use is Firefox.

Do you have the latest video drivers? And not necessarily the Panasonic ones, I'm talking about the Intel drivers for the integrated video or the ATI drivers for the discrete video. You didn't include your full model designation so we can't tell what kind of video it is :p I've had great results with the latest Intel drivers personally. While the original drivers and any updates available from Panasonic may have been better at the time they were released, the newer 'generic' ones work better for me now. Perhaps the newer drivers are better with the updates for operating systems or newer versions of operating systems, I don't know. You might also see if you can tweak the OS so the video is more efficient...just a thought. Good luck! :)
