Update : I plugged a keyboard into the laptop and low and
behold the numbers worked . I also got in the set up screen
using the F2 button and for some reason that same button on
the laptop didn't work either so I'm guessing the keyboard is
shot unless anyone has a different opinion which I welcome
Also were else can you get a replacement keyboard besides'
Ebay ? I read that the CF-50 keyboard is identical and would work.

You can get a replacement keyboard from various sources or try to check and reseat the keyboard cable.

You will have some sticky tape under the keyboard holding it. You can bend it if you aren't careful.

Wish the borders crossing were open now because I have a few 51's and could get you a keyboard to you in a few days but shipping from Canada the cost would be very high
