Just looking for some info from the experts here, I would just like to know what is the max RAM I can place per slot in the CF-52 MK1 and MK2. I have windows 7 64Bit running flawless in both of them and can't seem to google the correct info from a reliable source.

Should be 4GB max... that would be 2 x 2GB of DDR2 chips...
If you check with Cruicial you will see 4GB max too: Computer memory upgrades for Panasonic Toughbook 52 Laptop/Notebook from Crucial.com
The DDR3 machines are 8GB max (4+4) -
I know there are certain CF-52 MK2s that can use more than 4 GB, certain ones using the Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26 GHZ. I have 6GB installed in my CF-52GFNBX2M, and it is working fine, and 'seeing' and using all 6GB (running Mint Linux 13 Cinnamon 64bit). I am bumping it up to 8GB shortly. I found this out by accident, mis-reading the edgetech website (below) where it indicates certain CF-52G P8400 models that are MK3s take 8GB and that others take 4GB. I mistakenly thought mine was a MK3, but later on a Panasonic website I saw it listed as a MK2.
I also recall from about 6+ years ago when playing with 2nd hand Toughbook 72 and 27 that they often operated well with RAM capacities above their design maximum.
