All, i have been away for some time and have recently purchased 3 new (New to me) toughbooks.
    I have a CF-52 MK1 in great condition
    I have a CF-52 MK3 in good condition
and i am awaiting a recent puurchase of a cf-19 MK2. Its in the mail.

Problem i have is with the CF-52 MK3 CF-52PFNBEDM. I cant get the Wireless Wan option to show in the bios. I did read the post about how the MK3's bios is locked and that i need the SPGOBI2.zip tool to unlock the wwan function but i cant find the file anywhere and the forum post is closed.
Another weird thing about this model is that the dip switches were missing all together. The rest of the board was populated with sim card slot and everything else but the switches were not populated. I promptly purchased the part on Digikey and soldered it on but since my Bios is still locked, i cant get the option to show in the bios.

    Help?

You don't need the dip switches on that model.
Do you mean the entire BIOS is locked? Or just the optional kit portion?
If the entire BIOS is locked then you are done and will not be able to change the wwan settings.
SPGOBI2 will not unlock the entire BIOS. Nothing will.
We can not discuss unlocking a locked BIOS on this forum.
If you just mean the "optional kit" then the password is "toughkit"

    Search function works decent now.

Need SPGOBI2 to unlock WWAN on CF-19 MK4

Thanks for the link BarrMaley :)

Thanks for the reply! I should have been more clear. The bios is not locked, i just heard you needed to unlock the wwan option on the bios.
Thanks for the link! thats exactly what i needed. I will attempt and post back.

Thanks also for the info about the switched. I thought they may not have been needed but for a couple of dollars for the part, i didnt think it was a loss to install it. Ill just set the switched to off :)

    Thanks again,

    Andre
