    Why do you need to update the BIOS?

    FYI..Updating the BIOS will not remove any passwords.

    Exactly for password, i will flash via programmer. What means "Updating the BIOS will not remove any passwords.". There is no TPM chip! CF19 MK3 password is stored in BIOS chip.

    Forum rules prevent us from discussing password removal, other than to tell you MANY people have tried flashing the BIOS and it WILL NOT remove the password on a Toughbook. I don't know where they store it or how, but flashing will not work.
    The only answer is to send it to Heartlands and spend $200.00 to $300.00.
    The moderators will close this thread very soon.
