Just received a CF-52 that won't boot. When attempting to power up, the power light comes on, then the hard drive lights, but no image appears. Instead it beeps 5 times and then shuts down. Yes, it has memory modules. In fact, I changed modules to known working modules. No difference. Does anyone know the beep codes for the CF-52? Or where to find them?

    Appreciate any ideas. Thanks, Joe

Thank you very much. You directed me perfectly to the answer for my question. Unfortuantely, I am not smart enough to understand the answer. Five beeps is code for "No console output devices are found."

Would that be the LCD? Or video card? I will try external monitor.

If your LCD is gone it should boot up...Well Google tells me its your cpu or video card not seated right or it's toast. Now we know they both are in right and you can't remove them because they are soildered on the mother board.
