Don't get me wrong - it works like a charm and I can use the keyboard with no problems. But Windows 7 detected some problems with the driver and forwarded me to "look for solutions". It did not find any. The warning is about that "the keyboard is not fully compatible with Windows 7" for which I assume that there may be some function available on the keyboard which eventually won't work. I wasn't able to find it![]()
I see that the driver in the device manager is listed as a "standard keyboard".
Are there any Windows 7 specific drivers for the toughbook laptops (precisely - CF-52)?

No special drivers at all, mine was like that too and W7 runs great on my 52 ( MK1 , 2 and 4 )

I get this also with Win 7 so we just ignore it?
"the keyboard is not fully compatible with Windows 7"
Seems to work fine, wondering if it has to do with the Hotkey driver? -

I have had W7 on my MK1 for over a year and this has not caused me any problems at all...I would not worry about it.

Mine has 2 drivers listed. No errors
HID Keyboard Device
Standard PS/2 Keyboard -
Does the HID driver load with Microsoft keyboard and mouse products?
That is what I seem to remember.
