Ask your questions. Perhaps some of us, even though we don't have a 52, might be able to help.

    IT COULD HAPPEN!!!

The questions are related to personal experience with them...have some of you used it at least, to be able to give feedback about build quality, etc.?

I am an elusive CF-52 owner. Even more rare my model has an ATI graphics card. 1900*1600 rez. I once like the rest here had to sidescroll on antiquated P3's. Dremel holes for antennas and sprint from AC outlet to AC outlet.

As a general purpose laptop their are none finer.

I just listed My CF-52 on ebay. I want to buy the new CF-52 with the ATI HD3650 So I can play Fallout better. The X2300 actually does play it pretty well but when lots of characters and lights are on screen it bogs down. Wish Me luck.

What are the benchmarks on the new one versus older? How does it do with HD video playback?

The Gaming forum area has a few threads. The new one is said to Be the equivalent of a 8600GT. The X2300 benches 14000 in 3dmark 2001. thats an old benchmarker. I dont know about HD playback I've never seen a Blueray video before. It should work though.
