There seems to be a lot of overlap in features.

I think I have a CF-52 mk 5. I would love to know if someone has a link to chart that shows what the difference is in a mk3, 4, and 5.

I would like to purchase a new computer, but know some of the refurbished ones would suit me fine. I would like an i5 maybe with a dedicated graphics card but not a deal breaker.

CF53 has a smaller screen. Laptop is smaller overall.
Touchscreen is available on a CF53
Emissive keyboard works on a CF53.

contact member safn1949 he can help you out.

Thanks Shawn, so there is no mk 5 CF-52?

Do you happen to know where I can find the specs of the different mk models for the CF-53?

Also ATI graphics is a option on the 52, you can't get ATI on any CF-53.

    The real difference between a CF52 and a CF53
At least according to high school algebra :)
Well it works out to 1(CF5) with this equation
    (C*F*5*2) vs (C*F*5*3)......
    2(CF5) vs 3(CF5)
    2(CF5)-2(CF5) vs 3(CF5)-2(CF5)
    0 vs 1(CF5)
    0 vs CF5
    So the difference between a CF52 and a CF53 is CF5

Clarification and confusion start and end with the same letters.
Smaller but .....still a full size keyboard. (53) Important to a touch typist like my wife.
If you are tall you scrunch down to look at the screen.(53)Threw my neck out of joint one time.
53 has a touchscreen in most marks, and screams (speed wise) with SSD and Linux. 12 second boot 3 second shut-down.
    The touchpad is wider.(53)
SD card is inside....good and bad. (53) 52 is perfect for a lot of SD card changing. Like a photographer.
If Panasonic added 3/4 inch to the screen height and red leds (keyboard backlight) like 52GUN then they could quit improving.

    Definitely go i5.

From my non-touch but cheap CF-53AAGZX1M
evolutionLinux on a 16 GB pendrive.
