So my CF 52 has been playing up with the wifi signal being lost and then the wifi power LED switching off despite the mechanical switch being on. I have tried both 4965 and more recently 5300. I seemed to have some success when I uninstalled AVG Free and replaced it with Avast. The wifi then worked for some time but became flaky again. I then also recently tried down loading the Intel Proset for the wifi drivers. The laptop worked fine that evening with solid LEDs and no indication of faults then the next morning no wifi LEDs at all. The wifi cards are recognised in device manager as working and have the most up to date driver. Anyone got any thoughts. Would also like to get hold of a service manual (just in case its a hardware fault).
