Hi all,
I just got a Toughbook CF-53 MK1 cf-53aszcgfp, I realized it does not have its original keyboard.
Underneath is a sticker saying mp-03106e0d8145.
It appears to be a keyboard for CF-28,29,30,31.
It looks unused.
Is this some sort of bad for me?
Does the original keyboard(s) offer something different? Spill resistance?

Well that's good to know since I do have a few of them keyboards kicking around if my 53 keyboard dies. The 53 keyboard spill resistance, nope. As far as I know no difference.

Interesting...
Here is a picture, btw:

That's just the standard keyboard for the 28,29,30,31,52,73,74 by the looks of it. Trick is to see if it has the 3rd slot for backlit keyboard.
Oh, that's a German keyboard. -
Well, I doubt it is backlit
-
That one is not, but it might be able to be replaced with a backlit, there is another small connection across from the 2 main ribbons.

It absolutely "may" have it. I replaced one yesterday. 53AAGZX1M
The connector was there but I had to use a "used but good" regular keyboard.
Waiting on a newish BLKB.
CF-53 MK1 with CF-28-31 keyboard, negative for me?
