    Anyone done this yet? Search isn't working for me today so forgive me if this is a duplicate question. Three screws in front removed... whats next?

    These keyboards on the 53's are GLUED DOWN GOOD! Good luck pulling it up without ruining the keyboard.

    I think mnmenth might have some info on this too?

    Dude, almost ANY Toughbook (with the exception of the CF-30) has their keyboards glued down.

    I think it's more on the semirugged's because of the water seals

    I have noticed that the CF-73's have more holding the keyboards down too. So I am guessing they are for that reason.

    Ok got it off just have to bend screen back and pry off gently.... now to see about stickies

    CF-19 is considered rugged so maybe like the 30 no stickies?

    Ok..... I DID IT!

    all I used was a philips screw driver and a used itunes card.... will post some pictures in a bit.
