Looking for the part number for the media bay smart card reader for a mk2. My dad bought a Cf-54 thinking it would have a smart card reader already installed, but it did not. He wants to look into purchasing one so I can install it for him. Thanks.

I believe the media port is a pcmcia card slot and the smart card reader is on the bottom. I have these in stock.
    Thanks

OK, you have me interested. Is the one you have for the raised bottom or the flat bottom? I have been searching for one for quite some time. I do have a DVD drive and I don't want to lose that as it is needed for the job.

It's a raised bottom for the smart card card reader.
