I saw some on ebay, just thought they were a bit pricey.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Toughbooks. Unfortunately these seem to come from large corporations or government to the secondary market, and those guys destroy the hard drives for security reasons. The caddies seem to go with the drives all too often.

Does anybody know of an external hard drive enclosure that accepts a hard drive caddy? That would be cool.

There's plenty of external enclosures that take the 2.5" hard-drive itself.

Yeah, but it would be nice to have a shock-resistant external HDD that matched my Toughbook.

It would also be nice if Panasonic fully supported the older laptops... :(
