    Hi Everyone.
I have a CF-73 w/ a 80 Gb hard drive that is full and would like to clone the contents to a 250 Gb replacement. Am having trouble understanding how the caddy should be opened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rosdaman

What do you suppose the "HD dumper" is for?

Thanks for posting the PDF link.

Unfortunately it does not give any instruction in how to manipulate the tabs and metal ... the caddy looks like a device that is designed to be easy to close and very hard to open. Looks like, to open, a lot of things have to be done at the same time.

Well, I do have a spare to play around with.

the paperclips work well with most of the hard drive caddys like cf-50,cf-51 and any that aren't fitted with the small screws......Driller
