while in one of our abandoned building re purposing old office furniture I gained access to an old locked closet and found 27 CF-73 MK1's. I would like to know what the contents of each of the 3 recovery discs are. I found the discs in the closet also but they are so badly scratched that I cannot even recover and create an ISO from them. I would just like to know which of them is the most important one to get a hold of, or are all three of them critical in the installation of the IS to factory specs?

All three are needed if I remember correctly. Heartland can get you a set of them though.

You are going to need all 3 of them. The recovery disk are a image of the harddrive when it left the Panasonic factory only...not like a Windows OS cd ...sorry

You could try one of them disk repair kits, it might fix it enough to make a backup copy

well thank you for the responses, the discs are damaged to the point where the data is not readable, it is the paint on the tops of them that is badly scratched. I thought since I have disc #1 and it is in the best shape of the three maybe it contained the XP install and then disc#2 contained the drivers and disc #3 had the utilities. I don't care if I did not have an operational Drivers disc since I know where to get the drivers. Anyways I will be placing a call to Heartland in the coming days to get started, I just hope they don't want some outrageous price for thos CD's.

    IMHO...

you may want to try the BST forum, or ask around here if anyone has a set....that's what I did for my 29 when the time came.

    Just a thought.
