    CF-73 MK1 WiFi

I'm in a can't see the forest for the trees place. I've tried too many things.

It had a windows 2000 sticker on the bottom. I got a complete hard drive & caddy & it booted to xp no problem. It never showed a wifi till I took it a part. & voila, there it is. The card shows on the hardware profiles (used Show Hidden) I just can't get it to show up under network connections.

Could there have been other drivers from other models maken it work?

PS it does have an XP sticker on top (?)

    Help :)

I would get the model number on the wifi card itself and install the manufacturers drivers for XP.
Is wifi enabled in the bios?

Rats... Wifi enabled in the bios? there was an unknown PW when I got the shell-

Can I tell from anywhere else? or just inside the Bios?

I'll try the XP drivers next..
    Thanks

The CF-73(1.4ghz)MK1 OEM wireless card is the 2100 3B. Try to download the driver of that card from intel using any of your pc, of course it must be connected to web. Then install it on to that machine. Just the driver.

OK the the WIFI is OK now. Getting into the cmos fixed the problem.

But... what's up with the keyboards? I have a replacement-
    2 things:
      1. Trim it on the side where it doesn't have notches?
      2. What's the trick to slip the keyboard tabs under the palm rest?
