    Issue 1:
I have a CF-73XCVTSBM running Win7 except for the hotkeys.
I installed the following XPSP2 files in the following order:
    Hotkey Appendix Application hkeyapp_73_5_d050640.exe
    Hotkey Settings Application hkeyset_73_5_d030477.exe
    Hotkey Driver hotkey_73_5_d030031.exe
    My Hotkeys don't work.

    Issue 2:
Does my hotkey_73_5_d030031.exe have a touchscreen?
I installed some files and the setup reacted as if my screen is a TS ... press the screen on the "X". It recognized that I touched it and moved the "X" to another location to test. Except for that, it seems that there's no TS software or TS functionality.

    Issue 3:
    Where is the MK# on a CF-73?

    Thank you for any help.

I have not ventured into W7 installations on the cf-73's so I will not be able to help with #1

#2 The good news is that yes your model is a touchscreen
The bad news is that 90% of the later model cf-73's after a few years of use have non-functioning touch screens due to a manufacturing defect

#3 there are 3 ways to find the mark #
The hard way is with deciphering the model number
Easier still is looking at the processer speed
    Mk-1 1.4
    Mk-2 1.6
    Mk-3 1.7
    Mk-4 1.86
    Mk-5 2.0
The easiest way is to hit F2 while booting
Look on the first screen , on your model it should look something like this
    Bios: V5.00L10
    Embedded Controller V5.00L11

The first number after V (version) is your mark number, in your case it's a 5 so you have a Mk-5

    Thanks Alex,
Since I had some functionality with TS, I was wondering if there was Win7 TS software I could try. I think the ware I tried was for XP. There were several EXE files in a folder. They seemed to be drivers AND ware but nothing seemed to kick in after installation and trying each EXE individually didn't start any tablet-like features.

I didn't want to do it but if I could be pointed to XP ware and how to use it on my CF-73, I could load XP-PRO just to see if the TS works.

If you are a positive person and you try to look at the bright side ,you have a 10% chance on the touchscreen working on xp :)
If you are negative like myself you have a 90% chance on it not working

What is the evolution of the CF-73 up to today's equivalent?
    CF-73 ... CF-74 ...
Would it be the W7? Do they have similar hardware?
I've read where those with a CF-51 using Win7 can use the CF-52 Win7 hotkey files.
I wonder what the CF-73 equivalent is in today's models. I could try the Win7 files for that model.

I just found that there are two hotkey files for the CF-F9 rather than the usual three files and nothing for the S10 or the W7 for Win7.
There's a huge zip file of drivers for the W8 in Win7.
    I may have gotten the W7 and W8 mixed-up.

Correction, though I didn't find Win7 drivers for the S10, the S10 with an i5 CPU was bundled with Win7.
