My wife's C2 updated it's Win 10 a month or so ago. Now if it hibernates or sleeps, when it starts up the screen brightness is at it's lowest setting. PC settings show it at lowest but changing the setting has no effect and Keyboard control has no effect. If we reset it to it's highest brightness and reboot it all is normal both settings and keyboard work until it shuts down by sleeping or hibernating, then no brightness controls until we carry out the reboot process again. The Panasonic splash screen and bios are at normal brightness and you can see the spinning windows wheel change to dim while windows boots up.

The other 2 household C2's are Mk2.5 and don't have a problem.. Wish MS would stop pushing unnecessary updates or at least let people opt out.

I reinstalled the Panasonic drivers, no help. Also downloaded the Intel update tool and let it install the latest Intel 4000 drivers , no help........

    Thanks, Jim

I started this years ago and multiple Windows versions ago. First thing I do with a new install is disable sleep and hibernate. I had problems with them waking properly and gave up a long time ago.
I feel with an SSD sleep and hibernate are not really needed.
Just my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.

I would delete and re install the hotkey drivers if I was in your place and wanted sleep / hibernate. That might solve the issue.

There is no life without sleep mode. I never shutdown my pc's except of hardware maintenance cases :))
I think the problem is similar to "no sound" one for cf-19/30. There are also non-working brightness settings. I would try to repair that way.
