So the resolution on my "2MP"camera on my H1 ONLY SHOWS AS 640X480... I know that it should be more thn that RIGHT?

AFAIK, 640x480 is a "Vga quality"... aka, .3 MP right?

So any ideas how to change it? I'm using the software provided by Panasonic.

Is there a different/better software I should be using??

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks guys! :)

Your guess is a good as mine. Panasonic is really vague on the cameras. I have a CF-19 with a camera and besides small pdf manual there is not too much info on it. I think on mine you can up the resolution up a bit higher in the provided software. I wonder if you can use another program to access the camera. Try using the camera software for the CF-19 MK4 model that is what I am using.

WOW! This is EXCELLENT Eno! Thank you SO MUCH for that!

Yeah, it's taking MUCH better higher res pics now! Now all I have to do is figure out how to repgram the 'camera' button on the front of the unit to launch that program and take pictures with that program too. Additionally, there is no way to to toggle the 2 BRIGHT LED lights on or off like the default program has...

Back to the drawing board for now...

WOW! Okay, so I went the MK5 CF-19 (Also found in the CF-H2 download section) and I found a utility called "Camera light switch utility"... It works VERY WELL! It has 2 programs: one to control the time out to change when it auto turns off (can switch between 5 seconds and 600 seconds) and then the program it's self you just double click on it to turn the camera on and double click again to turn it off!

This is AWESOME! I can use it as a flashlight too which I wanted to do anyways but figured at the minimum I would have to get the camera working right before doing the "flashlight app"

Okay, so this thread can be closed!

    Thanks again Eno!

Sorry to dredge up this old thread again but I am having the same issue with the CF-H1... 640-480... I had better resolution on the old Motorola phones 8 years ago!

I tried updating to the CF-19 MK4 driver... But I still get the 640-480.... Any thoughts?
