    I have a CF-H2 - to be precise the sticker says "CF-H2FRAJV1M"

I have a blank Win10 installation - so far using it is no problem.
I have also installed all the drivers, so only one small thing left in the device manager where I cant find the drivers: Hardware ID is VEN_MAT DEV_0022 - some websites said something about intel chipset. But no luck so far by testing all the drivers from here:
    https://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/search?q=cf-h2&button=&dc[]=&p1=&p2=&oc=&lang=

Also the touchscreen does not work as expected:
The outer centimeter does not work, if I click in that area the mouse jumps one centimeter to the center. So the Windows icon for example does not work. Also adjusting the screen in Windows does not really work.

The confusing part: If I click on the screen when the system boots to get into the bios: The touchscreen works there. Including the last centimeter. So the hardware can't be the problem I think.

The pen is the original one from Panasonic.
In the device manager I have a "HID compatible pen", HID compatible screen" "HID compatible device that is defined by the cendor" and a "Wacom device" below "input devices".

Any ideas? Thank you for help

Your tablet is Dual Touch (Wacom + resistive). Do you have a wacom stylus? Does it work ok?
The problem is with resistive touchscreen? Check whether this button is available and use it

That option to reset the calibration is currently greyed out because I suppose there is no calibration stored.
Also the calibration process does not work because I can not click on the X when they are so far in the corners: Even if I click exactly on the cross which is like a Milimeter from the outer corner I can see that the screen detects the click like a Centimeter to the inner part.

    Like in this pic:

I have one stylus from HP and the original one from Panasonic, but both dont show the click on the screen where I click but a few centimeters away, use with fingers even if Windows gives me the option to calibrate that does not work at all.

And the panasonic support says that they have not tested Windows 10 and even could not give me information what kind of drivers are used for the touch screen at all.
The bios screen also does not have to be adjusted and works...

Do you have access to a docking cradle?
This with a mouse and keyboard might assist set up of your operating system

Mouse and/or Keyboard is no problem.
But even with that I have no idea what I need to setup in order to get the touch screen working in the end...

Ok, Found out that the missing driver is the one for the shortcut keys on the right, so that puzzle is solved.
And I have now done the calibration but clickt on finger instead of pen and it looks a little bit better already.

Pen and finger use different layers of your touchsreen, that's why I asked you. You can't calibrate resistive touchscreen with Wacom digitizer stylus.

I have h2. you can calibrate the screen in the bios. It works very well in windows and linux. Sometimes it messes up and prob hardware issue being older machine

Ok. I have the problem again. An no idea why the calibration utility is not working this time... I can start it but calibration is greyed out.

I suppose this is due to wrong drivers. When I use the Windows calibration app and select pen on the first calibration point in the upper right corner I get the error "There was an input detected from a device that was not selected for calibration". Even if I used the pen.

And in the device manager all the drivers are obviously from Windows instead of Wacom. But I also dont get wacom installed...
I have a driverbackup, so only the sys files from a CF-H2 where it works, but might be a different model of the CF-H2 I suppose.
Also the Panasonic website for downloads is pure chaos... packages that dont install at all, thousand of single driver packages with very minor differences in the name only...

try calibrating in the bios and then might know if its a hardware issue. mine sometimes acts up being an older machine. wacom works on most live linux distros to test as option also. for windows i use 7 though and used the full driver pack to install all...

Can you point me to the image you use for Windows 7 then? Or is that h2p-mk3-7x64.exe?

I am now going to re-install Windows 7 first, install all drivers, then update to Win 10.
This device had XP on it so updating to 10 was not possible.
And in the BIOS the calibration works as expected. Also in the bios itself I can use the touchscreen without any problem: Precise clicks are no problem. With finger or pen.

    HI
I used the driver pack you mentioned. It fully worked all things like the bar code reader also.
It should work with no issues on windows 7.
never tried w10 but i see there is a cab file listed for it.
but these are for mk3. might as well try since most of the hardware is still the same

The trick I did now is this:
First completely wipe the Win10 installation again and install Windows 7. Then install the mentioned package on Win7 including calibration of the touchscreen.
Then update to Win10 and now it works.

You can not directly install this win7 64bit driver pack, it says OS not supported or no supported device found. But with this trick now it finally works.
Also all the packages from the panasonic website dont work, I wasted like 10 hours testing them: You either get error with no supported hardware detected.

The Panasonic official drivers and driver packs are always for an exact model and mk.
You can get around this by extracting the drivers with a utility such as 7zip.

Not really, I used the 19 Mk8 driver pack on my Mk7 which worked just fine.

With the 40 or 50 that I have installed 95% are for specific machines.

It's hit and miss, on the CF-19Mk5 I use the driver bundle from the Mk7 but the CF-74 really needs the correct one.
