We have tried to load the hd with an OS, and no joy..

Turns out the HD was toast.. Off to EBay for a new HD..Now the HD has been formatted, and Win 2000 loaded..Still doesn't recognise that the HD is there!

Possibly a bad cable? Bad cable from the caddy to the machine?

One other question too.. On the BIOS, is is "hard wired" into the emprom, or can it be flashed ??

Any other ideas on why this fine little machine doesn't wanna play?

    Thanks in advance!
