I recently acquired a MK6 (933Mhz) CF-M34 and have experienced a few issues while installing XP Pro and Panasonic drivers. At first I was unable to get any drivers to open/install into the "util" folder, no matter which model (MK3-7) drivers I tried to use. I kept getting the "this model not supported" error code. I then used the Winrar program to extract into a separate folder all the drivers and then installed. I have everything working except the touch, but I hope to have that working tonight. The one issue that has me stumped is the LCD resolution. Right now my desktop has the standard Windows landscape and it looks like an Andy Warhol painting. It is much like the view you get when in safe mode but in color. I have tried everything I know to change it including updating drivers, uninstalling both the video adapter and monitor, all to no avail. One strange thing I have noticed, in device manager there shows to be two Intel video adapters and in the monitors there is a flat panel and a standard LCD. I have never had another 34 that showed two of each. Anybody out there got any ideas (hopefully not having to start from scratch!)

Andy Warhol!! LMFAO!!! I do know that the default (AND ONLY) resolution for the M34's are 800x600, NOT 1024x768...

I'm gonna see if I can get the drivers from my co-workers M34 that I know are working good with his (he has a mark 3 or 4 I think...)

    Thanks

I fingered out the problem! I swapped another LCD that I knew to be good (to find out if it was an LCD issue or something in the MOBO) and it did the same thing. While I still had the keyboard up and the small covers off, I pushed the copper foil connection and that seemed to have an effect. I pushed it down a bit harder and, bingo!, no more Andy Warhol and the picture was perfect. I swapped the original LCD back and before I put the small cover back over the copper foil, I cut a piece of the cloth covered foam (the one that looks like an upholstered brick) and put it over the connector so when I replaced the cover it put a fair amount of tension on the foil. Works great! Glad to have another issue (be it a small one) fixed....
