I just got a CF-SX4. Any help and sources for info, drivers, etc. would be appreciated. What passes for a manual that I found online isn't very good. It says it comes with 4GB and the max is 8GB. I can access one slot. Is there another slot soldered on the motherboard?

I've found vids on Youtube for the SX2, SX2 and SX4. There are less on the SX4 than the others. They're all in Japanese, I think. Most are simply unboxing. A couple dismanle the laptop. A heat guy is required to remove the keyboard. I didn't see a second slot under the keyboard on those ones.

One vid showed the user installing a 16GB stick of Ram.

What is the square compartment on the bottom at the back, left? I forget the number on it. It's something like C-0028. It's under the SD Slot.

I have a power adapter from my old Panasonics. I wonder if it will work with the SX4. What's the rule on what has to match for voltage and Watts? I think the power adapter I have has less voltage and more watts than what's listed in the manual for the SX4.

    Thank you for you help.

There is usually a label on the bottom of the unit.

Voltage important..16V!...amperage not so much. 3.85 to 5 amps????? (Panasonic standard types)

Something I read, said 10% less battery life on ECO mode.

Battery-settings.jpg Maybe "ECO" mode is like the high temperature mode in other ToughBooks that has less run time because it does not permit battery to charge fully in hot environment.
