I have a CF-T2 with a gray vertical line that appeared a month ago. The line is about two inches from the right side of the screen and runs from top to bottom, the entire length of the screen. The line is about 4 points in width - gray in color. It hides whatever text or graphic that is on the screen. However, the touchscreen does work where the line is present. I have re-installed the drivers as well as a complete recovery. Anyone have iinsight as to what might be the problem?

I think it's a broken cable or it has lost his connection to the screen. Normaly the cable is glued to the screen. U can disassemble the screen and look for any anomalies.

    Hawk1234,

You need a new screen as the elecrtonics at top of the screen on the back is starting to die.

I have seen the same problem on a dell and a HP laptops

I would also suspect hardware failure. Usually when pixels are dead they are dead, new screen time :(
