    CF-T4 No Sound

    Hi,, shawn

    i got same problem.
    i'm using ' panasonic let's note cf-t4 ' i recently my sound not working. drivers are working propley everything just fine but no sound came out. i tried with headphone also using sound jack. i don't why is that and i tried eveything that i can i found drivers form panasonic web site and installed it and no luck after that i format and installed xp pro sp3 and installed sound drivers but still no luck..i think you guys can help me out..

    There was a post from OHLIP I think. U have to install the sound driver in correct order, so that u can adjust that the internal speaker has to make some noise instead of the headphone plug.

    Yep, this is one and there was another one. I learned from his posts, it is not every time a bad connection inside the switch of the headphone plug, mostly it is a problem caused wrong driver installation. U have to go close to the installation instructions from panasonic, which u can find on their website.

    Something else to try. I have a CF-19 that if I ever mute the speaker, the ONLY way I can get sound back is to take out the main battery, take off the bottom of the computer, unplug the CMOS backup battery for a few seconds, and then plug it back in. If I use the volume control to lower the volume to zero, it is ok, but using the mute button is a no go. If all else fails, try that trick. No clue why it works, but it does, and I've used it a couple of times on that computer.
