Yes, I'm sure this topic comes up a lot here. I just can't figure it out for the life of me!
I have a CF-T4 Mk1 with a fresh install of XP SP3. I installed the intel chipset first, then used the device manager to load the touchscreen drivers. The files copied properly. Now I have "Fujitsu Touch Panel (USB)" under human interface devices in the device manager, and I have the mouse. But the touchscreen still doesn't work. If I go to the mouse and pointer settings in the control panel I only have the mouse, no touchscreen option.
There's one other thing - the laptop seems to be getting really hot (like, burning hot to the touch) right around the trackpad area. I don't remember it doing that before I reinstalled Windows, and I have no idea why. I inspected the motherboard and didn't see any shorts or burned areas, and the processor is attached to the heatsink with fresh thermal paste. I'm wondering if there is something I'm overlooking?

Look in start, programs, all programs,Panasonic. I think it is there or listed on its own in the program list. The batteries tend to run hot on those in my experience,I had a lot of T5-7-8's.
And I bet the touchscreen is kaput, only about 30% of the ones I had worked, are there any white marks on the screen that look like spots?
