So I have 2 T5's (MWETZBM) with 1GB total RAM and I wanna upgrade that to at LEAST 1.5GB or maybe 2.5GB if I can... It has 512 on board and a little Kingston 512MB micro-dimm in there. It's DDR2 5300...

My question is this: Crucial has that it supports 1.5GB max but I'm wondering if it will actually work with 2.5GB max (Kingston's site doesn't even have the T5 listed)...

I found these 2 little gems:

    1 G 1GB microDIMM MICRO DIMM Fujitsu P1620 P7120 P7120D - eBay (item 260652108487 end time Sep-16-10 07:32:41 PDT)

Fujitsu 2GB DDR2 Micro Dimm (MicroDIMM) Memory - eBay (item 190368582247 end time Sep-23-10 22:04:04 PDT)

Before I call panny I was wondering if you guys had any clues/ideas?

Just remember: neither Crucial nor Kingston say that a 256MB-base RAM-equipped CF-29 Mk4 or Mk5 can handle a 2GB DDR2 SODIMM; but we know better; don't we? :p

Ahh... SO that is a good confirmation that a 1GB chip will work... Just need to figure out if a 2GB chip will work now... :)

The 1GB work for sure, but for 2GB it's another story.
I've never heard of someone which ever tried.

BTW, I've already made some search on this forum to have some info about the CF-T5, but what's the trick (in search or advanced search)?
When I want to search for CF-T5, there is no result (same for CF-30).
    Any idea?
