How well would a CF-U1 tablet fit in a cargo pants pocket, would it be a tight fit? I've been meaning to pick up a umpc and I've narrowed my choices down to either the toughbook u1 or sony ux. I'm focused on the latest generation model u1 with 2GB RAM/64 GB SSD/1.6g CPU/Win7 which I occasionally see on ebay for around $1k more or less. There are many more of the older models listed with 1 GB RAM/16 GB SSD/WinXP for less than half the price but is it true these particular units are not easily upgradeable?

    Thanks for any info!

I don't have one hanging around for fitting, but what I remember from handling them, they are too thick for getting in a cargo pant. And they would flop around quite a bit, I guess. IIRC there are belt-holsters for them as well. That would be more convenient as it doesn’t flop around as much and it is still easy to grab.

    Tabman,

I have TONS of these in stock for WAY LESS than $1000. I also have the base models you are talking about for only $349.

I can't PM you because you only have 1 post. Call me or email me and we can discuss further. (281)-305-5018 / robert.baldyga(at)ruggeddepot(dot)com

I have both. What are you wanting to compare on them?
