Looking for a replacement SSD for a CF-U1.
The installed SSD seems to have corrupted. See pic of BIOS screen.
It seems that the Transcend TS64GSSD10-M is not now available and this locked thread
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...1-drive-for-panasonic-toughbook-cf-u1.799625/
recommends some alternatives. All the alternatives look to be 40 pin ZIFs while this thread
http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/cf-u1-ssd.776731/#post-10016215
shows the Transcend TS64GSSD10-M as 35 pin.
I would rather just replace the SSD than do the mod that involves removing the WWAN card etc . Any advice welcome please.

Further to this I have found only one SSD and caddy for sale which is a 32gb.
It looks completely different to the corrupted 64gb that needs replacing, with no heater cable etc...
Is there more than 1 type of SSD for CFU1s?
(BTW how do I edit the thread title to amend the typo?). -

A UK eBay seller is selling complete mk2s with 64GB SSD, camera and bcr for £35.
Cheaper to buy a whole new CF-U1 ! -

My guess there was only one. I couldn't find it either.

There were several but got bought very fast. The seller lists a few every few days.
