Anyone open one of these up? What battery pack is inside?

    Part # CF-VZSU14B
Standard battery in the newest cf-72's, will not work in early models

Thanks, that's what I hoped. It's the same battery pack that is in the media bay / 2nd battery for the CF 29. I just got one off fleabay from Hi tech for $22.00. That should refill mine in my 29. Mine right now is at 170 cycles and 14800 mah. Gives me about an hour run time. Hopefully this one will be a bit fresher. If not it's a good accessory for my 51.
Just curious is there any decent reasonably priced aftermarket CF-VZSU14B batts? Panasonic are now made from unobtainium. I already have the yellow tab 7.65 main.

    I don't trust any aftermarket
I stick to the panasonic brand and the higher capacity as the are the latest released

I guess I didn't look close enough. I just found a site that lists OEM CF-VZSU14B for $70.00. I thought Panasonic would have discontinued those. Maybe they still make them to use in the media bay batts which are more recent than the CF 72

I just noticed something about the numbering.

    CF-VZSU1428w is for a CF 28 29 27
    CF-VZSU1473U is for a CF 73 51
    CF-VZSU1430U is for a CF 30

CF-VZSU14B is inside. I bet it's inside the CF 30 pack.
They all have the root part number of the basic battery pack inside. (CF-VZSU14)

For the 73/51 and cf-30 the smaller cap battery is needed , as these are slim
I wished that panasonic used a higher capacity second battery on the cf-29
I was never happy with my cf-72's runtime

Yes I have always wondered why they used the smaller capacity battery in the CF 29 pack. They had plenty of room for a battery with almost twice the capacity.
