This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looking to modify the model number of my CF18 MK2, MK4, MK5 or I have a couple CF19's too.

    Found an old thread where rusty503 talked about doing it on a CF30mk2, with BU30M2.exe from the canadian panasonic site.

    No luck finding an equivalent BU18M2.exe file to try it. If someone can help I'm willing to pay for the file and time.
