I had my CF30 and CF19 apart and figured I would try the Ubiquiti SR71e I have in my CF30 in the CF19..

It boots and works fine...I used the drivers direct from Ubiquiti. I ordered another SR71e for the CF19..Only thing is the SR71e uses 2 antennas and not 3, but it is 400mw so that makes it worthwhile..

This is AR9280 in fact. So you can buy AR9380 and use third antennas.
Don't know how do you use those 400mWs.
Intel 7260 works the same, I can't see any difference.

What model of CF-19 do you have? Nothing I tried on my Mk2 worked except a 4965.

According to the Ubiquiti datasheet the SR71e is a dual band radio...I thought it was single band

    Of course, because it's AR9280 :)
If yours doesn't work in 5GHz range - there is a tool for Atheros for unlocking 5GHz etc.

I got the new SR71e and installed it in the CF19..Direct install, no cutting or taping of pins.
    I am getting a speed of 130mbps. With the 4965 I was getting 144mbps..
Considering the extra range and sensitivity of the SR71e, I can sacrifice a tiny bit of speed for the performance increase.

Once you installed the SR71 in your CF-30, did you have an issue with the wi-fi on/off switch no longer working? I'm a fan of the Ubiquity products (put a 300mw PCI card in my CF-28) and could connect to public wi-fi from the parking lot.

I put the SR71 card in my CF-30 but noticed the wi-fi is always on now; the switch no longer powers it off.
