So I have been futzing with this toughbook on and off in my spare time... cf-19CJBAABM. It was a parts machine with no OS, so updated to Samsung SSD 840 pro 128GB drive. I've got one unidentified thing in device mangler to go, but I found something interesting out tonight. I watched some netflix mostly to test the wireless out while I cleaned up from supper, and after resizing the screen, my calibration was off on the touchscreen, and would not run the recalibration utility correctly. I was starting to think that the screen was flaky, but on the intel graphics media accelerator prog in the systray, the "graphics options>Panel fit>full screen had changed to "maintain aspect ratios", not "full screen" like it was before. Change it back, the calibration works again, and all is well. I wonder if silverlight changed the graphics options... just a heads up for something to try if your touchscreen calibration has gone for poo.

btw, any ideas on what a device instance of USB\VID_0C24&PID_000E..... would be that shows up in device manager as a usb device?

Oh, and the 128G SSD is awesome. this thing is way too fast for an old computer.

Oh, and BTW, HUGE thanks for the info here, much appreciative of the time you all take to post info for others to be able to access.
