Hello guys! If is someone so kind to help me resolve or make me understand what is going on....
The laptop is CF19KHRAGAM with incorporated WWAN GOBI. Operation system: WINDOWS 8 Enterprise N on SSD
From BIOS the WWAN is ENABLE. From the CSA package I install the driver and in DEVICE MANAGER all look well (see the picture).
    QUALCOMM HS-USB MODEM 250D (I belive this one is a GOBI1000)

I dont know what software should I use with this. Got a VODAFONE 3G SIM card and with the aplication from VODAFONE I can start up the MODEM (from blinking led it stay light continous). The SW see the modem but the SIM card is not recognized.(like is not present)
I have change the SIM card with one from another provider, this time I used the software called MWCONN... Modem found but it ask to enter SIM card like again is not there (not recognized)
I dont think something is defect or malfunction arround SIM socket...
What's going on? Is this modem able to work just with american networks verizon, at&t, sprint ?(locked?)
    What to do???
    Thanks for any advice
